The Austrian health service provider is equipping its 4 houses with a total of 500 image 3 universal hospital beds from wissner-bosserhoff. The beds will be supplied with the innovative SafeSense® bed-exit system, which helps hospital staff to avoid falls and reduce the number of restraints.

The decision in favour of the hospital beds from the Wickede company was preceded by a tendering process lasting several months with comprehensive specifications, in which product, quality and service requirements were given particularly high marks. For this purpose, the Burgenland hospital company KRAGES had set up a committee consisting of experts for economy, technology, hygiene, care and ergonomics, which evaluated the features and general conditions of all tender participants. In the end, the overall package from the wissner-bosserhoff/Das Pflegezimmer team was able to completely convince the experts.

"In addition to the high product quality overall, the transport advantage provided by our 5th castor and the innovative SafeSense® bed-exit system were among the particularly decisive arguments for the KRAGES management. It is a great success to be able to work with the most important clinic operator in the region," says Ludger Severin, Sales Manager DACH, delighted with the order.

"During the presentation, our service technician completely disassembled and reassembled the bed in only 15 minutes. This made a lasting impression, especially on the service technicians", adds Igor Savic, Managing Director of the Austrian sales partner Das Pflegezimmer.

The Burgenländische Krankenanstalten-Ges.m.b.H. KRAGES, based in Eisenstadt, is the largest provider in the health care sector in the region with over 2,000 employees spread over 4 locations.

The image 3 - a universal hospital bed with low nursing position combines unique product features in a patient-oriented concept with more sustainability and efficiency. Thanks to many optimizations, the proven bed is able to meet the constantly changing demands and conditions of hospital operators, nursing staff and patients.

The SafeSense® bed-exit assistance system is equipped with an individually adjustable automatic night-light system that is activated when the patient leaves the bed and goes out when the patient is back in bed. SafeSense® is compatible with commercially available nurse call systems and is configured to meet individual customer requirements.
