The removable bed ends allow full access to the patient and come with an ICU version. The bed ends are magnetically locked and the panel is highly damage-resistant. 

Telescopic siderails – The two ergonomic handrails make release of the siderails extremely safe.

Zero gap – Autoregression ensures a constant safety gap between the backrest and the head end of the bed. Ergonomic positioning principles are maintained.

The siderails height positions are adjustable so they can meet current needs.

The siderails are at the mattress level when adjusted to the lowest position and thus provide excellent access to the child patient. The staff's work with the patient is significantly easier and more ergonomic.

The central position of the siderail allows a better view from the bed when communicating with a visitor or the accompanying person, or when watching television.

The highest position of siderails provides maximal protection against falls.

Positioning of the Tom 2 children bed is fully electric. The bed’s height, backrest tilt and TR/ATR position can be adjusted by using the control panel. The GO button ensures safety locking of the bed to prevent accidental movement.

The unique range of the bed’s height adjustment extending to 25 cm (58 – 83 cm) ensures the patient’s safety on the bed and allows nursing procedures to be performed ergonomically.

The child patient can exit the bed comfortably at the lowest safe position (58 cm). The position is also convenient for communication between a visitor and the recumbent child.

When positioning the backrest the mattress platform slides out towards the head-end, so Tom 2 is the only bed on the market where a dangerous gap does not appear between the head and backrest.
