Integrated Weighing Scale

The sentida 7-i features an integrated calibrated weighing scale that enables comfortable and dignified in-bed weight monitoring without the need for resident transfers. By eliminating the use of hoists, wheelchairs or separate weighing equipment, the system helps to save up to 15 minutes per weighing process compared to wheelchair scales. Accurate weight measurements support efficient documentation and allow caregivers to monitor weight changes and BMI more easily, helping to identify potential nutritional risks at an early stage.

Moisture Assistant

The sentida 7-i‘s moisture assistant detects bed moisture at an early stage and automatically sends an alert to the nurse call system. Its membrane textile is waterproof yet breathable, with a 100% cotton upper layer for a natural skin climate. The textile is washable at 95 °C for hygienic, reliable use.

Thanks to real-time information, the moisture assistant helps to better protect residents from maceration and pressure sores.

Features

The sentida 7-i combines intelligent technology with thoughtful functionality to support the evolving demands of modern care. Its innovative features help enhance resident safety, encourage mobility and streamline everyday workflows for caregivers. Bed Exit Manager

The Bed Exit Manager is an intelligent early warning system designed to support fall prevention and enhance resident safety. Integrated sensors can detect when a resident is preparing to leave the bed and trigger an alert before bed exit occurs, enabling caregivers to respond more quickly. The system features customisable alarm intervals, compatibility with common nurse call systems and an automatic night light that activates when the resident leaves the bed and switches off upon return. By providing timely notifications, the Bed Exit Manager helps improve safety while supporting greater resident freedom and independence.

SafeFree® Split Side Rails

SafeFree® split side rails provide flexible fall protection and mobility support. Four adjustable height settings and multiple length options enable needs-based adaptation to different residents and care situations.

3-Stop Strategy

The 3-stop strategy combines safe care, mobilisation and fall prevention by providing three defined bed height positions. With a height range from 27 to 80 cm, it provides an ergonomic care height, a chair-height position and a low sleeping position to help reduce fall-related injuries.

3 Bed Lengths

The sentida 7-i can be adjusted to three different bed lengths without the need for tools: 200 cm, 210 cm, and 220 cm. This flexible solution allows the bed to be quickly adapted to individual resident requirements while saving valuable time in everyday care.

BiNetic® Lying Surface

Thanks to its integrated double retraction technology, the BiNetic® lying surface creates additional space in the seated position, helping residents sit more comfortably while minimising shear and pressure forces. Together with the extended backrest of nearly 90 cm, it supports stable positioning and enhanced comfort, particularly for residents with limited mobility.

  • + 17 cm more space in the seating area
  • Optimises the contact surface in the seating area
  • Could reduce the risk of pressure on sensitive areas of the body

Chassis

Extra-mobile

The extra-mobile chassis has been developed for situations where resident transport is part of everyday care as it offers excellent maneuverability and smooth bed movement. Residents can remain comfortably in bed while being transported. Different castor options and an integrated directional locking castor support precise steering, stability and controlled handling, making transportation safer and more convenient for caregivers.

  • Single brake bar at the foot end for simple central locking

Cosy

The cosy chassis combines practical functionality with a design focused on creating a welcoming and residential atmosphere. By discreetly concealing technical components such as the bed castors, it contributes to a more homelike appearance that blends harmoniously into living spaces. At the same time, the bed remains easy to maneuver, ensuring flexibility and convenient repositioning whenever needed.

  • Axle-mounted pedal brake or optional pedal brake for central braking
