With the low nursing bed sentida 6, wissner-bosserhoff has achieved a consistent and above all uncompromising implementation of the requirements of modern nursing care: Maximum safety hand in hand with a cozy design. We relied on the continued development of innovative solutions like the 3-stop strategy, with the feature allowing height adjustment to 27 cm for a safe sleeping position, 41 cm for ergonomic bed egress at chair height and 80 cm as the optimum height for comfortable and back-saving nursing care. The patented SafeFree® side guard concept supports patient mobilization and implements important findings from the "Werdenfelser Weg" (German anti-restraint movement) initiative and the Redufix project for patient safety. Due to the divided SafeFree® solution, individually adjustable to four heights, freedom-depriving measures can be reduced to a minimum.
In the development of sentida 6, the focus was on mobility. Thanks to the 100 to 150 mm easy-roll or design castors and 4-castor central braking system, the low nursing bed can also be used for transport outside the patient's room without any problem.

The German Design Award is the international premium award of the German Design Council. Its goal is to discover, present and award unique design trends. Each year, top-class achievements in terms of product and communication design are awarded. Each of them influences the international design scene in its own way. Already today, the German Design Award, which was initiated in 2012, ranks amongst the most renowned design competitions across the world and is held in high esteem far beyond the circles of experts.Due to the unique nomination process, only products and communication designs that are demonstrably outstanding in their creative quality are invited to participate. The award was given in February 2016 at the trade show "Ambiente" in Frankfurt on the Main.
