The Mayor’s International Community Award is given on an annual basis to foreign owned companies in the Charlotte area that exhibit outstanding contributions to philanthropy. Since 1998, the Charlotte International Cabinet and the Office of the Mayor have hosted the Mayor’s International Community Awards. The award was presented to LINET Americas at the Mayor’s International Community Awards Banquet, held May 5, 2015 at The Booth Playhouse in Charlotte.

LINET Americas has received this award in recognition of significant community and philanthropic achievements through the What Matters Most program. What Matters Most is an employee wellness and philanthropic program within LINET Americas. The What Matters Most program focuses in three areas: supporting health-related organizations, patient wellbeing, and community involvement.

“We are honored to receive this year’s MICA award and very proud to be a growing part of such a remarkable community” said Colin Bain, President and CEO of LINET Americas. The Mayor’s International Community Award follows LINET winning the 2014 Healthy Charlotte Award given for the What Matters Most wellness program.
