The mattress consists of a solid block with convoluted profiling on both sides of the mattress. This profiling helps to better distribute pressure, and due to its completely symmetrical design, the mattress can be turned and rotated (alternating the head and foot) to extend its useful life.
Convoluted symmetrical profiling: This profiling is symmetrical along the entire surface of the mattress. Thanks to this, the mattress can be flipped as required, and the head and foot can be rotated. As a result the mattress has a longer useful life.
Mattress cover made of vapour-permeable materiál: Helps reduce patient perspiration and also reduces skin moisture.
The mattress can be rotated and turned for longer use.
The way the mattress core is contoured helps correctly distribute pressure between the patient and the mattress. In addition to a clinical preventative effect, this affords greater comfort because the mattress adapts to the shape of the patient’s body. Due to the profiling the mattress better reacts to the positioning of the bed.

With correct positioning of the patient, the mattress is suitable for patients with up to a second degree risk of the incidence of pressure ulcers.

This mattress is suitable for patients with a maximum weight of 110 kg. Above this weight, the preventive anti-decubitus effects may be restricted, and the mattress may be deformed.
The EffectaCare 10 mattress is standardly available in sizes 200x86x14 cm and 200x90x14 cm. Special requirements for other dimensions can be dealt with on an individual basis.
The mattress cover is made of a flexible vapour-permeable material with a concealed zip.
