sentida 7-i continues to collect design awards
With the renowned Red Dot Award and the distinction of best product in its category for the Plus X Award, the intelligent nursing home bed has already received five prizes this year.
After the new nursing home bed sentida 7-i already won the prestigious iF Award in February and received the Universal Design Prize in two categories in April, wissner-bosserhoff is now pleased about two additional honors. In the past month, the Wickede company has received both the Red Dot Award 2015 and the Plus X Award for "Best Product 2015/16."
"With sentida 7-i, wissner-bosserhoff sets new standards in regard to electronic and sensory intelligence that we have only seen in hospital beds until now. In the process, the nursing home bed always retains the homely design character that distinguishes all products from our company. We are pleased that these properties are well received by our customers and design experts alike. The numerous honors this year confirm it," says Uwe Deckert, Head of Marketing and Product Management, in regard to the victory march of this product.
The Red Dot Award for products has existed since 1954 and is a quality seal that is recognized worldwide. A panel of judges from a variety of internationally acknowledged design experts award this prize only to products with excellent design quality. This year, only 1,240 products of 4,928 entries from 56 countries received awards.
The Plus X Award – an innovation prize for products from the areas of technology, sports, and lifestyle – is now in the twelfth year of its existence in 2015. This award honors manufacturers for the quality edge of their products. In addition to the Plus X Award Seals of Approval, the special award, "Best Product 2015/2016," is also presented. A product receives this title if it was able to receive more Seals of Approval than the other products of the same type of product.
